Homemade Fettuccine Alfredo

This homemade fettuccine alfredo recipe is so easy to make, you'll want it for dinner at least twice a month!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Half and half
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 Egg yolk

Instructions
 

  • Prepare pasta according to package directions.
  • While water is boiling, preheat a medium-sized pot over medium heat.
  • Melt butter in pot. When melted add garlic and let sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add in half and half. Stir until blended with butter.
  • When half and half mixture has come to a simmer, remove from heat.
  • Add parmesan cheese to mixture, then slowly add egg yolk while continuously whisking.
  • Once pasta is cooked, pour sauce over and mix together.
  • Serve immediately with parsley garnish and a mixed salad and bread.
